How do you say "I have nothing to do with that" If something bad has happened, and you want to separate yourself entirely from it. For example, "Do you know anything about all the trash on the floor in the breakroom"? "I had nothing to do with that!" I would guess to say something like, "Ich habe nichts damit zu tun", but I know idiomatic phrases usually don't translate directly. I'm just wondering what is the CLOSEST translation that makes sense in German.

Your translation is fine. Sometimes it does work for idioms too. :-)
