The second and third sound OK. The first doesn't sound right but it's not terrible either. In fact, I am not sure if any of them sound very good. I think adding the words which follow "popular" in each example add no real meaning. I would have to see the phrases in context to say this more certainly or not. You could try instead : "It is now becoming much more popular."

Iris: They all work quite well. I think though, in the USA, you would hear this as the expression: "It is more popular than ever." This is a simpler, and more straightforward expression. Still, your sentences are fine. ./;
