아래아 Some of these old ancient korean 자모 don't seem to exist these days. I am just wondering if they are supposed to have any official pronounciation still? How many of these have actually gone into extinction, and why?

As you know, all languages change continuously, and do so in many and varied ways. 아래아 have disappeared because most Korean people could not distinguish this sound from ㅓ or ㅏ sound any more. 아래아 still remains in Jeju dialect (
