Hi, I'm looking for a site that starts with basic french grammar and rules. I'm trying to study french but I often times don't know a where a word goes, or how a sentence is phrased.

You just have to look a bit on the internet :) 
I find these : 
http://www.francaisfacile.com/ (which has lessons and a lot of exercices)  
http://www.bonjourdefrance.co.uk/learn-french-online/ (where you can learn according to your level in french)   
http://www.frenchbyfrench.com/level.php?level=beginner1

I just picked up some sites, but you can find others and probably also better ones. Hope it will help :s
