Me gusta; me gustar Why do we talk "Me GUSTA leer" but "Me GUSTAR ir a la playa"?

the correct way in both sentence is "me gusta" when you say "gustar" the verb is in infinitive mood, so that isn't correct. you have to say me gusta ir a la playa

Caty is right, you would never really use gustar in the infinitive form ie. 'Me gustar'...Maybe unless you said "Me gusta gustar cosas"? (I like to like things)??
