If you are having a hard time communicating, try to book chat lessons on italki and speak with numerous teachers. If that doesn't help much, download a google translate app on your phone. This will help you communicate with foreigners while traveling if you are having a hard time expressing your thoughts. :-)

Practice

Practice is really the best way. Try to find someone who is patient to have conversations with on Skype, Kik, or another instant messenger program. alan.coots is my username on skype, if you like.
