sunlight VS daylight I am not sure whether sunlight is same as daylight when referring the light of the sun. I know daylight can mean day time and sunlight can't.

The others have answered so I'll just add... I'm awake during the daylight hours usually, but it's a rare day here in the UK, in winter, that I get much sunlight! Perhaps I'll hibernate!

I believe when talking about the light from The Sun, "sunlight" and "daylight" mean the same thing. "sunlight" is more broad. You can describe moonlight as indirect sunlight and also sunlight includes other parts of the spectrum: things like radiation and not just visible light. We usually say you can get vitamin D from sunlight, rather than use "daylight".
