How can I improve my listening comprehension efficiently? When I listen to a recording in English, I like following the speaker to speak, and listening to the contents and reading the materials at the same time. But it seems it doesn't work.

A great way to practice is to be sure you are writing down the words you hear. Even if you mishear the words spoken and write down the wrong word, you are still practicing your vocabulary while working on both your listening and writing skills. Watching vlogs on youtube can help because many are annotated as well! Hope this helps :)

Helley... you said it doesn't seem to work. I think it is working, but you cannot see/tell that it is working. When a child hears their mother or brother or sister talk their native language, the young child cannot remember the words until they hear them several times. The same thing happens to people who are learning a second language. I would need to hear Chinese words and expressions spoken many times before I would be able to remember them and recognize them when Chinese people speak. Keep listening to the recordings and try to find a native English speaker to speak to. I do not recommend movies or songs because they speak and sing too quickly.
