Shiny is something that reflects the light - metal or diamonds are usually described as shiny Glossy - magazine pages are described as glossy, or also you can get paint with a 'glossy' (shiny) finish as opposed to a 'matt' (non-shiny) finish. Bright - lights can be described as bright as well as colours that are vivid Luster - a surface that is sheen or reflective (like a coin)
