How to say "or" in Japanese? I`m not very sure with this term. Very often I hear or read と, や or 。。ですか、。。ですか。とand や are directly translated to "and" in my Japanese class...But is there a specific word for "or"? Example: この家はねこと犬はかえませんが、小さいとりとさかなはかえます。 In this house it isn`t possible to keep cats and(or?) dogs, but you can keep little birds and (or?) fishes.
