How to use "any more than"? Thanks. I wonder the exact meaning of this phrase and why, and how to use it? I shall be obliged if you can help me. I cannot understand it well.

"I cannot help you any more than this." (I have done enough - I won't do one bit more) "You are greedy if you eat any more than what's on your plate." (not one piece of food more) I guess that you know the usage of "more than", in comparison expressions. The word "any" adds emphasis.
