Which option is correct here and why ? Don't phone them just yet, they ______ got up. 1. won't have 2. wouldn't have According to me, 2nd option should be there in the blank, as we are not sure if they have got up or not, but at source (British Council) 1st option is correct. Please explain. Thanks

The pattern "wouldn't have [got up]" is used when assuming things in the past. It makes much more sense to use "won't have", seeing that the situation is in the present.
