How to use "どうな“ and ”どう"?

I think you wanted to say どんな and not どうな. どんな in general means "what kind of". 1. きみはどんなえいががすきですか。(kimi wa donna eiga ga suki desu ka) >What kind of movie do you like? 2. あのおんなはどんなひとですか。(Ano onna wa donna hito desu ka) > What kind of person is the woman over there? どう means "how about", "how are". 1. いまてんきはどうですか。(ima tenki wa dou desu ka) > How is the weather now? 2. ひさしぶりね、あなたはどうですか。(hisashiburi ne, anata wa dou desu ka) > It has been a long time, isn't? How are you? 3. これはどうですか。(kore wa dou desu ka) > How about this one?
