How should I use would, had and have to express thing I wish happen in the past but it´s impossible Hi everybody, I have a doubt. When should I use "would" and when "had". For example, I´m talking about something I wish happen but now it´s impossible: "I would like went to the farm" or "I had liked go to the farm" or maybe "I would have liked go to the farm" I don´t how to use it, I´m kind of confused about this.

Complex way : "I would have liked to have gone to the farm." Easy way : "I wanted to go to the farm."

I think it's the third one: I would have liked to go the farm.. you could use had, if you didn't want to but still end up going to the form: I had to go to the farm. I hope that's helpful.
