What is the difference between "Turn on - turn off" and "Switch on - switch off". Thank you.

They pretty much mean the same thing. I think the only difference is when you're talking about alternative meanings. For example "turned on" can be another way to say 'aroused', whereas "switched on" can mean someone is very attentive. eg. 'That attractive young lady turned me on' 'Billy is switched on today, he answered all the questions correctly!'
