Move - making an object change location. We have to move the car. We have to move the table. I'm moving my stuff to a new apartment. Move over I need to get through. Remove - taking an object away. Remove the wrapper before you eat the candy. Remove yourself from the classroom, you are disruptive. We are going to remove the bad cells from your body. Shift - It is like move but a smaller movement. Transfer - Like move but with different things. Transfer the files. Transfer the information. We have to transfer the battery from one car to the other. It suggests you know where it's going. Move is more open - you can move something without knowing where it is going.
