He is in 'the' business meeting OR He is in business meeting Which one is correct and if 'the' is necessary in that sentence, Can you please tell me why 'the' is necessary?

The correct form would be "He is in a business meeting" - you would only use "the" if you had referenced this meeting beforehand. Then again, "a" is still better.
