Help with handwritten japanese あとで?ろう。 What's the kanji in place of the question mark?

The kanji is not very clear but I think it's 殴ろう[なぐろう], the infinitive is 殴る[なぐる]( = to hit). I hope this was helpful.

I'm not too sure myself and i'm interested to find out. I interpreted it as just a scribble, like how this can be done in the English language. Its purpose in writing is to imply something is done, and let's the reader decide on what the blank is. Well I might be wrong, studying Japanese myself. Hope to hear native speaker's responses!
