At home versus from home Hello ! yesterday while I was studying I happened to see some sentence . In the movie I watched for studying, some character said " I called Martine at home" But it is annoying to understand some difference between at home and from home. Could I know what the difference is? Thank you

"I called Martine at home" would indicate that the phone call was made to the home of Martine. "I called Martine from home" would indicate the the phone call was made from the home of the caller.

" I called Martine at home" means the you phoned Martine at her home. You didn't phone Martine's mobile/cell or her work number - you rang her home phone number. " I called Martine from home" means that you phoned Martine when you were at home.
