I'm so confused with this following sentence, please help me understand. If the employer wants you to take holiday at a given time, e.g. when there is a shutdown at the same time every year, they must give you notice of at least twice the length of the holiday.

Some businesses close down during a certain time of year, such as in August. If they close for one week, they would be required to tell their employees two weeks before they close. If they close for two weeks, they would be required to give you four weeks notice.
