I imagine someone is giving a friend some good advice. His friend is in love with a woman. But the woman is emotionally complicated and her love is not mature. She has some psychological weaknesses which are : a) desperate - she places too much hope in her lover b) clinging - she cannot let go and be independent in a normal way e.g. she phones him 3 times a day to discuss her problems c) restrictive - perhaps as a result of the other problems, the friend will not feel very free when he is with this woman. She demands too much of his energy and attention. For these reasons, the relationship is not likely to be easy. The situation is likely to be something like what I have described.
