What does this two sentences mean in english: 1. 同じの穴の狢なんだ 政府は この国じゃ 2. 運はいい方だ does the first one mean "the govermant is as bad as this country"?

Correction govermant→government Answer 1. 同じの穴の狢なんだ 政府は この国じゃ The government is bad as the same as it in this country. 2. 運はいい方だ I am the person that the luck is good.
