Does catfish also mean fool?

It means you have been fooled, but in a very specific way.  It is when someone uses a false identity on the internet, for example in a chat room or on Facebook.  For example, if I developed a relationship with a person on the internet who pretended to be a young attractive woman, but who was really an old perverted man, then I would be "catfished."
