How do you say "one thing" in Japanese? I mean "one thing" as in "I only wanted to eat this one thing off of the plate"

one thing ひとつ one(thing)/ひとつのものone thing(concrete)/ひとつのことone thing(abstract) this one thing これthis(thing)/これひとつthis one(thing) I only wanted to eat this one thing. わたしは これ(ひとつ)だけが/を たべたかった(です)。
