What is the best way to learn a language on a ridiculously low budget and with lacking social skills I am unfortunately lacking in communicative abilities and have little income if any at all, I was wondering the best way to learn a language with said constraints

I can advise you to write a lot, to read a lot, to watch film, TV series in the original languages. And to use this website as well :)

I agree to Riccardo. Furthermore, if you are really interested in the language and love to do lots of exercises, I recommend to find some nice books with keys. For example: A-Grammatik: Übungsgrammatik Deutsch als Fremdsprache, Sprachniveau A1/A2 (ISBN-13: 978-3941323094) I know people who start with a "real" book by translating it word by word, trying to understand the story. The last person who did that read "Bob, der Streuner" by James Bowen. Since German is fairly similar to English you could give it a try. But be aware that the first xx pages will be hard work and probably frustrating. You can also start with fairly tales (Märchen). On http://www.sos-halberstadt.bildung-lsa.de/indextexte.htm, you can find some in easy German. The website is actually for hearing impaired people but I think it's also great for German beginners.

Yes, you should read a lot, also you can translate the texts that you read, that way you'll learn new vocabulary and understand the grammar in a natural context. You should try to read small texts aloud while you are recording your voice. I love reading manga and I've learned a lot with them because is entertained, the texts are short and you can associate a word with an image. Good Luck!
