For example, you can find a lot of people from both Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic around New Jersey area. Or if you are not able to travel so far, there is a neighborhood in Queens whose name is Jackson Heights where most Colombian immigrants live and have their small businesses. Other resource you can use in order to enhance your spanish proficiency is to try to read newspapers printed in spanish. One of them is "El Diario NY".
