Sorry to hear that, Vasilis, the ney is a beautiful instrument.  Have you checked out buying one from Turkey?

And, in answer to your question, of course what you describe is a mockery of "free trade" as it is normally understood.  Maybe we should be thinking for whom "free trade" is "free"...
