In 2010 new Jōyō-Kanji were added to the list from 1981. If someone teaches me, I'd grateful.
Even if I learn them blindly, I won't know much about the general usage like the compound utilisation. Which Kanji go with them, which don't? Since I learned the first 1945 Kanji like that, I know, the correlation to other Kanji helps a lot with the memory.
