while.as About verb tenses. I think " as "can be followed by either simple or continuous tenses.is there a case in which " while" can take tenses different from past continuous? ThanksFor ex. While I was watching tv, she was studying. This is correct. But how about : While he waited for her, he noticed how close his face wad to Ann's. When can I use past simple after " while? Thanks
