Having troubles with numbers / dates in English Do you ever hear numbers / dates on the TV or on the radio and try to make them clear in your mind ? This is what happens to me oftenly. Because of that, I always miss the following part of the sentence because I try to catch the number. I'm so bad at it. Yet I know them! >> In most oral exams it's required to listen to a recording and fill in blanks with data which can be numbers/ percentage... I do not know how to solve it!

I don't know an easy answer. I have a similar problem with numbers in other languages - it takes a lot of mental effort to produce a large number like 25,945 quickly. Perhaps you could practise speaking large numbers over and over again when you see them in articles. If you can produce them yourself quickly, it will be easier to recognise them when listening.
