How do you make the best out of your language exchange? Language exchange is like an open learning centre where we can do anything as long as the two parties agree on ways to learn from each other. But what are the best ways we should know and how to keep our learning relationships long lasting?

sure it's hard to keep the instant communication for the difference of time and any other reasons. i think maybe one mail a week just like faye-shen told would be fine to contact each others. we can record our spoken languages and send audio files with the email. to faye-shen, maybe "proper writing" or "proper words" is ok.

Best ways will come along when we get the luck meeting the right party. With the mutual understanding and respect, proper method wound not be far.

I think most of the members here want to learn not only the language itself but also the culture and the country. Sharing information about these makes conversation more interesting and is helpful for the friendship.

给予是维持关系最好的途径。 可以每礼拜写一封邮件给对方,用自己掌握的语言和要学习的语言,互相指出问题,写出正确的文字并回信,提高阅读和写作。或者用skype&msn去交谈,练习听力和口语。 giving is the best way to keeping your relationships. we can e-mail each other,in native language and learning language, point the mistake, write down the right and reply,to improve reading and writing. or chating by skype&msn,to exercise listening and speaking. ps:“写出正确的文字” 用英文怎么表达更好?
