Has anybody ever heard the phrase: "Go with the dogs" or "eat your own words" ? What does it mean?

never heard "go with the dogs" but only "go to the dogs" which means "get fail" or "become poor". "eat one's words" means "take back one's words (to admit his/her mistake)". it's funny that in chinese there is a word called 食言 which can be translated word for word as "eat words" but has absolutely different meaning of "break one's word".
