Bien or Bueno. What is the difference in the use of bien or bueno? I'm having trouble understanding the correct context for each word.

Bien is an adverb meaning "well," and bueno is an adjective that generally means "good." El hombre bueno habla bien - the good man speaks well. You don't say, "I speak good," or "He runs good."
