About the noun's suffix! thx The sentence "Seine Frau aergert sich ueber die Ueberstunden ihres Mannes." I can't figure out why "es" follow after Mann. I'm now learning "Verben mit Praepositionen" . I know the "ihres Mannes" is the fourth case. But why "Mannes"?

"Die Überstunden" is fourth case because that's what "über" requires, but "(ihres) Mannes" is second case, genitive. It's similar to English: her husband*'s* overtime.
