Maybe you're looking in the wrong place. italki is not good for that. Lang-8 is good. You write they correct, and you meet a lot of people. I've even found a guy in my town to meet up with and have coffee from Lang-8. He's an exchange student. Meetup groups. Mylanguageexchange.com or whatever its call....keep looking. And it's no ones job to help you. You should really be doing most of the work yourself. When you meet up with your partner, it should be a conversation and casual, with corrections when needed. I also have a tutor. He's the person I ask a million questions and how thing work...because I pay him. He's awesome about it all too. Good luck. There are many Japanese people who are willing to help. You have to do your part.
