which section does it modify ? I have this sentence as following. Green is the color of nature, representing vitality, nature, and, of course, environmentalism. Is the above one correct? I am trying to use the structure "representing vitality, ..." to modify the word "Green", not the word "nature" which is closer to it. Put another way, can I put the structure of "v+ing" at the end of the sentence to modify the subject of the sentence?

You are correctly modifying green. As I read your sentence, I understand that the colour green has been chosen because it represents vitality in nature.
