I didn't take time for doing If you promised your friend that you repair his cellphone and you did not do that, because you didn't take time, Is it right to say: "Sorry, I didn't take time for doing that job/work/task". And which one is better to use between "task/work/job" or other words. Thanks n advance.

'Take time' is not the correct phrase to use. Things you could say: Sorry, I haven't done it yet. Sorry, I haven't got round to it yet. Sorry, I haven't had the time to do it yet.
