なかったことにしたくない = I don't want to pretend it never existed = I don't want to forget it ever existed ^Note: This "forget" actually implies that your force yourself to forget/not think about something rather than letting something naturally slip from memory Fundamental grammar pattern: ~ことにする = to decide to do something Reference:なかったことにする
