Look for songs by Elton John. He has been a singer for many years, with some slow and other fast. Some of his slow songs include "Candle in the Wind" when it was first written it was believed to be about the death of Marilyn Monroe, and then was re-released as a tribute when Princess Diana died. "Empty Garden (Hey Hey Johnny)" reputed to be about the killing of John Lennon, although I don't think it has ever been comfirmed. "Rocket Man", "Daniel" and "Tiny Dancer" are all slower songs by Elton John and all sound great.
