Which sentence is correct? "Our classes usually are over at six p.m." or "Our classes are usually over at six p.m."

the second sentence is the most idiomatic

Both are correct, but the second is a bit more natural in normal usage. The first one puts a bit more emphasis on "usually", as if to hint that this time might be the exception and the classes could run late.

The second one sounds best to me, although the first doesn't sound too bad to me. In writing, I would definitely only use the second.
