Please correct? 1 My sister ask me to go out for dinner, and I answer that if I was free I will accept the invitation. 2 Yesterday I arrived late at work but if I had waked up earlier I would be in time. 3) I bought a new dishwasher but I am not used to it. I have to read the instructions.

Constantino, why don't you take another careful look at the examples for 1st, 2nd and 3rd conditionals which I gave you a short while ago, and try to correct these sentences yourself? The third sentence about the dishwasher is fine, but the conditional sentences are wrong because you didn't follow the formulae I gave you. Here's an example of a 3rd conditional: 'If you had followed the formulae carefully, you would have written some correct sentences.' Why not try writing these sentences again, using the correct sequence of tenses?
