To be a part of this community, you don't have to pay a cent, but some of the features are limited. You can at least connect with the community here to start out and find a language partner for the language you wish to study. In order to get ITC though, you have to be able to pay for it. It's the currency used on this website to pay for lessons with tutors that you ask to teach you. Ask more questions here too about the language you want to study and I am sure you will find some useful answers too. This is a very helpful community, so I wish you luck in your endeavors.
