It is not always good or it is not always bad. It depends on both of your personal goals and way of living. If you are both happy the way everything is when you two are together then that's great. But beware I'm not sure what kind of foreigner you are talking about, someone online? or someone there visiting your country. Someone online can be a little trickier, there can be fake people lurking around the internet. There's never a guarantee who is behind the computer you are talking with. There are always sacrifices within a relationship to become one.

If you don't really know them or their culture, it won't be a good thing in the long term.

I say you do whatever you want!! Doesn't mater what other people think, what's important is what you think. So long as you are happy with your situation, other peoples opinion's shouldn't matter.
