Allocate time: I need to allocate time this week for my Spanish study. Kick off time: In my 34 years being alive, I've never used this other than to talk about football. For example.. What time is kick off? I would exclude "kick off time" Free up time: This would be used when you have a busy schedule/week and you decide or need to use some of that busy time for something else. For example. I have plans this weekend but I'm sure I can free up some time to see you.
