What is the difference between "tirarse en paracaídas" and "hacer paracaidismo"? Is there any differences between these two phases? About meaning or usage?

"tirarse en paracaídas" is only one action, but "hacer paracaidísmo" is an habit, you practice it regularly

There is a minor grammatical difference although in context they mean the same. "Tirarse en paracaídas" = "To parachute" // "Hacer paracaidismo" = "To do/practice parachuting " Good Luck and keep up the good work!
