Answers to "Nice to meet you" Is it possible to answer "Nice to meet you" with the stress on "you" to "Nice to meet you" with the stress on "meet"? I mean, like when someone says "Thank you" with the stress on "thank" and I answer "thank you" with the stress on "you" if I want to say "you're welcome". Thanks!

Yes, that would work, though it might be slightly more natural to say 'nice to meet you too'

Yes, that would work. My most natural reaction would be "Nice to meet you too" or "Nice to meet you as well". But if you don't want to just say the same thing, there is another common response: "The pleasure is all mine".

More natural would be to start with "No..." You are not really negating the previous, "thank you" or "nice to meet you", you are just claiming more gratitude or enjoyment. E.g: "Nice to meet you." No, nice to meet YOU." Or: "Thank you." "No, thank YOU." Equivalente a: "Gracias." "No, gracias a TI. El placer es todo mio."
