What are the main differences between "Modern Standard Arabic" & "Gulf Arabic"? Modern Standard Arabic (MSA): Written Form Gulf Arabic (Khaliji/al-lahjat al-khalijiya): Spoken Form If I only learned MSA, would I be able to talk with Arabian friends?

hi, Well ,it's better for u to learn the standered Arabic.This way u can comunicate with all arabs not only people from the gulf.Then it will be easy for you to learn the different arabic dielects including the gulf dielect :)

salaaaaaaaaaaaam. Yes, when learning Arabic in general can talk to all the Arabs (One language ) Even if different dialects ,learn arabic i will teach u language khalije do not worry, my dear friend
