Whom will you choose? If you have someone you love but that person cannot go along well with your mom you love and respect..and if the time comes that you have to sacrifice to end the trouble whom will you choose?

In the end it's whatever makes you happy. If you leave the one you love for your mother. In short term you won't be happy. If you try to live with it, maybe your love won't be happy. This is what family is about. I suggest you have a little chit chat with your lover first ask him what bothers him. Then respectfully talk with your mother and after that have a get together meeting or talk it over dinner. Choose the path that will make you happy for the longest time.

If I found a true love I wanted to be with and she did not get along with my mother it would be Seeya later mom without question. My relationship with someone who I plan on spending a LONG time with is more important. If mom did not like her it's mom's problem.

If before marriage, it is my family that I should choose. But if married, my choice should my wife who should be my life partner. However, one must continue to love your parents and family even though you are married. That you have no choice...

first of all you should try your best to change this situation, for sometime, people need time to accept each other.make some effort to help them know each other, maybe go out to somewhere would be a good choice. time will tell you if they can live under the same roof, if not,you should try the second option, live separately.
