Great! Your sentence is ambiguous! Your sentence structure is correct, but It is better you use noun instead of pronoun in the first sentence. Japan is a beautiful country. It is a peaceful country as well. In this way you represent Japan both as a beautiful country and a peaceful one.

1. Both are correct. But the first one would be better in most contexts :) 2. "I like fish in Japan" is correct
