The UK is quite small, and although England is the largest of the 4 countries, it's quite small too. As a result, the food, customs and festivals don't vary that much throughout England. There are slight differences in food from chip shops for example, but not much more. Accents are the biggest differences between regions and distinct changes in accent can be found by travelling less than 50 miles.
